Linda Osifo applies good/bad cop strategy in new crime thriller ‘Wóké’

Nollywood actress and television host, Linda Osifo is set to star in the new crime thriller “WÓKÉ”, hitting cinemas on November 4, 2022.

Directed by Ambibola Olagunju and produced by Gertrude Preye Augustine Seibi, “WÓKÉ” tells a story of a former secret service agent; Greg, who was persuaded by his wife to take a job brought to him by his former colleague, Chuks.

In a mission to find and rescue the kidnapped daughter of a renowned crime kingpin, Tega widely known for corrupt practices but who has always managed to evade justice, Linda plays the role of “Ejura” an intelligent, seductive and passionate member of the police force trying to prove herself in a male dominated occupation.

Listed as one of the fastest growing Nollywood actresses, Linda Osifo has continued to carve a niche for herself, making several appearances in big budget productions alongside notable names in the industry.

She cut her teeth in acting in 2012 when she starred in Family Secrets, shot in New Jersey, USA and directed by prolific filmmaker, Ikechukwu Onyeka back in 2012. Since then, Linda has starred in Nigeria’s longest running soap opera; ‘Tinsel’, played the role of Adesuwa Dakolo in Ebony Life’s spin-off drama series, ‘Fifty’, Africa Magic’s television series ‘Jemeji’ among many other productions.

Linda is a television show host, philanthropist and businesswoman.
