Nigeria music legend 2baba visits camp housing victims of Benue Flood


Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, a.k.a 2Baba, arrived the camp for victims of Benue Flood on Tuesday, September 5th 2017.

The Benue born singer, who was in company of his wife Annie, reportedly arrived at 10:40 a.m. to donate gifts to thousands of families who are urgently taking shelter at the camp, as the flood reportedly washed away villages, farmlands, food storage facilities and left many people displaced.

An estimated 110,000 people are believed to have been affected by the massive flood that destroyed homes of residents following days of rainfall last week.

It has been reported that 3423 people are currently in the camp including 531 men, 642 women, 1387 children (over 5 years), 582 children (under 5 years), 92 pregnant women, 115 lactating mothers and 74 persons living with disabilities.
