A building collapsed in Lagos on Tuesday morning.
The building, located at Osapa London, Agobi in Lekki, Eti-Osa local government area of the state,
reportedly collapsed at about 8:40am, with some of the workers trapped underneath.
Already some rural dwellers succeeded in rescuing six persons before the arrival of emergency
Two other persons, were recovered unconscious by the emergency services, and they have been
rushed to the hospital.
A rescue operation by the Lagos StatenEmergency Management Agency, LASEMA, is ongoing at the scene, no deaths have been
reported so far.
The General Manger, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Mr. Michael Akindele and the Director Lagos State Fire
Service, Rasaq Fadipe who were at the scene confirmed the incident.
“People were reported trapped and search and rescue operations are ongoing,” said Fadipe.
